I was Austin not the Capital of texas It was August 25th last summer I got assigned to a pen pal named Brandon he was from Pennsylvania I never been to Pennsylvania before, I heard it has a lot of farms and agriculture my brother said the first unit was on agriculture what I did not know.

It was August 25th I was Exhausted from a long day of school. A couple minutes later I hear HUGE raindrops. I mean it was texas we never had rain since 2008. So I thought I was CRAZY I went to get some pink lemonade from the fridge, then I heard it again the Hail I turned on the TV to see what was going on I turned it on to the news channel and it nearly inhaled my lemonade. And I     thought  where I was and guess what? I was in BROWNSVILLE I mean I was in the middle of a category 4 STORM in the middle of EVERYTHING. That’s happening.

I thought I was going to die with my parents at work doing dumb work stuff and I’m home with a category 4 STORM they were close but like a hour and a half away. And now the news said “TAKE SHELTER WHILE YOU CAN” I looked out the window and the trees blew OVER there was rain pouring over the gutter I was checking the news when it said a news reporter that was SOAKED with water, he was saying stuff about the storm and he was holding an umbrella. And it flew over into a stream. I thought I was just dreaming so I tried to wake myself up and you know what? I actually FELL ASLEEP trying to wake myself up. So on the second day  I woke up it might sound strange but my mom and dad left for a business trip and didn’t hear the

News so I keep food in the basement and guess what? IT WAS FLOODING my dog sleeps in the basement and his bed was FLOATING so I said “here boy come here, here boy”

He woke up and started doing the doggy paddle I Don’t want to brag or anything but he is a fast fast, fast swimmer in fact he was the lead dog in the military before we had him they called him “Champion” we renamed him as”sully”. And so the storm went on and one of our water heater was about to breach so.I said

“sully come here you need to swim to me now” and he swam like LIGHTNING we ran as fast as I could I heard a WHOOSH so now the drain pipes exploded a hurricane was near our house I thought nothing would get worse just then I heard the doorbell ring I tugged the dog to the door and it was a marine corps sergeant he picked me up and put me in his car. Now me and my dog were sitting in a marine’s car with my dog and random people on my block.then we waited he took us somewhere he opent the truck and me and the other people poured out. then we were at my school they took care of us then after like five days I walked back home and I saw my mom and dad, they were happy to see me and sully and that we were ok. And that’s the end
