There are many rivers in the world. Many rivers are miles across and some are 1/2 a mile Across, but they are all still a river.
This is the Nile river. Located in eastern Africa, it is the longest river in the world. It is 4,258 miles long. The Nile river is good when it is dusk. As you see here, it has many beauties.

This is the Amazon river. This is one of the thousands of branches in the Amazon river. The amazon mostly runs through Brazil, but although it starts in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. The amazon has a special event that happen at the mouth of the river called the pororaca. A pororaca is when 12 foot waves from the ocean go inside the mouth and flood the banks of the rivers and stops somewhere. It is dangerous to surf, but it is known for surfers to surf on it.

This is the Mississippi river. This picture is from St. Louis Missouri. The Mississippi river starts in Duluth Minnesota and end near New Orleans, Louisiana.

This is the Mekong river. The Mekong river starts in China and ends in Thailand. Although highly polluted, the Mekong has its natural beauty.
This is the snake river. Located in the U.S.A, it starts in Oregon and flows into the Missouri river.

Last one. This is the Volga river. The Volga river starts in Russia and ends in the Mediterranean sea. Although it is narrow, it is very long. It runs through western Europe and Russia.
