About Me

My name is Adam Geiman and I was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and Philadelphia University with a Masters of Science in Instructional Design and Technology. I am a soon-to-be father of a beautiful baby daughter and have been married to my best friend for three years. I have been teaching for 13 years; 10 of them in Eastern York School District and the past 3 years at Eastern Lancaster County School District. Besides teaching, I am passionate about learning/teaching educational technology, Philadelphia sports, traveling, and cooking.  Making learning fun is what I love to do.  Writing has always been a struggle for me.  I still struggle with it, but I work hard every day trying to become a better writer.  I do this by practicing my craft day after day.  I hope to inspire my students to be creative with their writing while cultivating a desire to want to write.  It is OK to make mistakes.  We all do.  Enjoy our blog site and the stories that my students are creating.  These are all works in progress and we are updating them as quickly as time allows us to.

Thank you, Shelby. I appreciate your kind words. My students inspire me to find new and exciting ways to present their ideas and teach them about the global community they all belong to.

    Hello Mr. Geiman,
Thank you very much for being my student blog mentor. I am here to answer your questions. This is the first time I am in the Student Blog Challenge. It is true that the environment needs saving, the cigarettes on the ground and the trees being chopped down. We need to make change. Again thank you for visiting my blog!

We would love to co-blog with you. Just so you know I am an Instructional Technology Coach now for the district. My students from last year are still posting onto their blogs, just not as frequently. If you still want to connect that is great. If you would like, I can connect you with Mr. Arena a 4th Grade teacher at Blue Ball Elementary. His students are blogging consistently and will be more than happy to connect with a class like yours. Again, I am more than willing to co-blog with you. I want to make sure though you understand my new position and how my class blog is working.

      Adam
