Earth’s Atmosphere: A Jacket for the Planet

Hello reader! Today I am going to be talking about a layer of the earth. I am going to talk about the troposphere!

The troposphere is the closest layer to Earth, and it’s where almost all weather happens. The prefix “Tropos” means change. The troposphere is repeatedly changing and mixing up the gases in this part of the earth’s atmosphere. This layer contains the air that we breathe and clouds in the sky.

Here’s the linkΒ to the Newsela article for you to read! (If you would like to.) All facts in this post were from Newsela.

Hi Christian, I see that the the troposphere is your favorite layer, my favorite is the thermosphere. I wish you could’ve said more on why the troposphere is your favorite. I wonder what would happen if we didn’t have the troposphere?

Hi Tate, I am going to tell you why it is my favorite layer. As you can see, the troposphere is where almost all the weather on the earth happens. The troposphere gives us SNOW!! I love snow. To answer your question, if we didn’t have the troposphere, we wouldn’t really have weather.

hi I Like how you changed up the paragrafe and did not write the same thing. I also like how you cited your work. one thing I wish for is that you would have added a picture I want to see how this looks and what you are talking to me about

Hi Rylee! I agree with you. I should have put in a picture showing all the layers of the earth. Thanks for commenting!

    Hi Christian,
I like that you cited your sources from Newsela. I wish you included more. (Remember, a paragraph should have 5 to 7 sentences each). I wonder why you chose the troposphere?

Hi Ella! I just recently made a post explaining why it is my favorite. If you want to go check out that post, go ahead! Thanks for commenting!

Hey Christian, it’s Jordan. This is amazing, keep up the great work! The only thing I would say to correct is that there is no need to capitalize “tropos” in the middle of the sentence. Additionally, I think you may want a space before your parentheses in the last paragraph. Other than that, great job, I’m very impressed!

Hi Jordan! It’s Christian. I tend to do that sometimes when I am typing, and just capitalize something random. Sometimes I notice it, but this time, I didn’t. Thanks for letting me know!
